I have been dealing with Soundlouder since July. I had to change my order because they don't tell you that they need to drill your vehicle. This added additional delay for the 2nd unit to arrive which was not the spec that I ordered either. Installation was done 10 September Tried and tested the unit. Certain functions and apps were not working correctly. Spotify was lagging. Could not control phone calls properly, Aux was not swapping as it should etc. 22 September the team came and tested the unit and found that it was not operating correctly. I tried and tested the unit further. 1 October I asked that the unit be removed and the original head unit be installed again. They missed at least 4 appointments since then where I did not once receive communication that they were not going to pitch. I wasted all this time off of work. The deinstallation was eventually done on 9 December. I am now R4000 odd out of pocket and nothing to show for it. Apparently, you can't take them to small claims court because changing your order is seen as "handling fees" This cost me R1,932.90 on its own. This is excluding my time and days wasted off from work. They have a terrible business model!
