What a complete DISASTER of a place!!! NEVER NEVER BOOK THERE!! Be warned. The place looks like a scene out of a horror movie.

On our arrival, the lodge never sent us a code for the gate. We waited 30 minutes outside! When we arrived at reception, it was disgusting! Black bags standing around in reception with a horrible sewerage smell that welcomes you. The ghosthouse, which is supposed to be a recreational area with a koi pond looks like a scene out of the move "Sleepy Hollow''. You just wait for the ghosts to come out at night!

I would recommend to ALL people intending to book any of the SOA resorts. Be very very careful to pay deposits! They refuse to give you your deposit back once paid, and the website for Birdsong Cottages is FALSE ADVERTISING! It is a complete mess! I would NOT even give them 1 star! And Tourism board gave the 3 stars!! Please relook at the star rating Tourism board!! The marketing manager of SOA is extremely unhelpful and unwilling to understand our complete disgust in this place.
