What a complete DISASTER of a place!!! NEVER NEVER BOOK THERE!! Be warned. The place looks like a scene out of a horror movie. On our arrival, the lodge never sent us a code for the gate. We waited 30 minutes outside! When we arrived at reception, it was disgusting! Black bags standing around in reception with a horrible sewerage smell that welcomes you. The ghosthouse, which is supposed to be a recreational area with a koi pond looks like a scene out of the move "Sleepy Hollow''. You just wait for the ghosts to come out at night! I would recommend to ALL people intending to book any of the SOA resorts. Be very very careful to pay deposits! They refuse to give you your deposit back once paid, and the website for Birdsong Cottages is FALSE ADVERTISING! It is a complete mess! I would NOT even give them 1 star! And Tourism board gave the 3 stars!! Please relook at the star rating Tourism board!! The marketing manager of SOA is extremely unhelpful and unwilling to understand our complete disgust in this place.

WORST SERVICE ON REQUESTING OF INCREASE OF ACCOUNT LIMIT
Getting softlocked by Vodacom!!! After several requests of increasing our limit on our company account at Vodacom is completely hopeless! Since 11 November, I have been in a struggle to increase our company account limit, with absolutely NO LUCK! I have received several reference numbers, emails that my issue has been escalated and is attended to.... But after nearly 1 month, and being softlocked 4 times in 1 month, this is becoming a hopeless case with Vodacom! I will DEFINITELY NOT recommend Vodacom to ANYBODY!!!! And all the call center personel say is....... We are so sorry! Sorry does not unblock our phones!! And sorry does not explain to my MD why his phone is being softlocked!
