I am beyond fed up with SPAR Sarnia’s online ordering system. Every single time I place an order that includes items on special, they cancel my order, claiming the products are “out of stock.” Funny enough, the moment the special ends and the price goes back to normal, suddenly the exact same items are magically back in stock. This has happened over and over, and it’s become obvious that this is not just bad luck — it feels like completely dishonest, manipulative business practice. Why advertise specials if you have zero intention of honouring them? Instead of contacting me, offering alternatives, or trying to resolve the issue, they just shut the order down completely. No communication. No courtesy. No effort. Just a lazy “cancelled due to out of stock” message while the shelves are mysteriously full again once the promotion ends. The whole purpose of online shopping is convenience — yet SPAR Sarnia turns it into the most frustrating, pointless experience imaginable. At this point I don’t even trust their specials or their stock listings because it feels like they use the “out of stock” excuse whenever it saves them money. I’m done wasting my time. If you want a store that respects customers and honours its own promotions, go anywhere else. SPAR Sarnia has made it clear they don’t care.

Friday morning, I had ask brother of mine to deposit money for me at Spar Sarnia R1000, unfortunately it was his first time, he had his driver's licence with him of which it can not be used, the cashier offered to assist with her personal ID card,( I'm in Johannesburg at the time), they proceeded with the transaction, all good I got the sms, at 16h30pm after I knocked off work, went to town, to withdraw "voucher redeemed" , only to find it was redeemed in Pinetown, the only person who's able to change information with the @standard bank call centre is the one person who's ID was used guess who? The cashier, how do I know this I have been an assistant manger in various spars and have seen such, I am very disappointed with the cashier from Spar Sarnia Zinhle.
