<div>This company was recommended to us by a neighbor who said they delivered a good service. In doing my due diligence, my first port of call was to HelloPeter where I found several posts of poor service delivery. I then spoke to the owner of the business and adressed the specific issues. The owner informed me that several of the comments were true but were outside of his control as the issues reported were because of his former partners. Based on the recomendation I granted the contract to this company to install a motorised garage door and motorised gate. Building work was in progress at the time so there was a delay between granting the contract and the installation. On installation, I was informed by the installer that my builder had built the garage door opeing incorrectly (not sure how that qualification can be made) but it nevertheless cost me extra to have the job completed. Subsequently the garage door came off its tracks and the cable also unravelled and the torsion spring came loose. The installer was contacted and took a while for them to get back on site to remedy the situation. Subsequently electricity was installed for the gate to be wired. The wiring was done and I was sent video of the gate opening and closing, however we later found that this was on the backup battery. Owing to Eskom outages and related challenges, when the electricity went live, we discovered a dead short which tripped the electrics. The installer was immediately informed around 3 April 2023, where he responded that my electrician had incorrectly connected up the electrical supply. Despite promises to do repairs on 17 April 2023 and missing the appointment with a further commitment to do the repair on 19 April 2023 we have not yet had the repair done. On investigation we did find that the power supply to the motor had been incorrectly wired by the installer. This person has been paid in full for the equipment and I am left with an installation which is only partially working. It is quite important for me to have these items electrified as I have 2 replaced hips and a replaced knee. Continuous getting out of the car to close gates is a strain, besides I have paid for the convenience. Please do not remove my post again I have tried to be as objective as possible, however, consumers need to be aware of the type of service available from this company</div>
