Spitmeister lack of professionalism and honesty.

Don't not use Spitmeister northern suburbs for a function. They are dishonest in their quotes, supplying incorrect information and delivery of service promised. They have hidden fees which they produce on quotes, not mentioned before and which they assure you are refundable and then should you have a dispute with service delivery they use that dispute to not refund you your deposit. Read the small print on quotes, should you pay a 50 % deposit, you will not get a penny back should something untoward happen. They encourage you to use certain venues the add on a enormous amt to the venue fee and then tell you they'll try their best to get a reduction on what they have already inflated. I had a quote for 61 people for a spit braai, and a quote for the venue they put forward. 47 only turned arrived for the function. However the meat supp**** did not even feed 42 guests.. 6 went hungry. Meat was cold. No heating available. A dispute arose re shortage of food, nothing to do with venue as such. Now because of that dispute they will not return my venue refundable deposit , the so called security, damage fee of R1500. I am taking this matter further as I do not want others to be caught out by their complete lack of service delivery and total dishonesty. They ignore any correspondence and think by silence they will win. Please be aware that Spitmeister especially a lady called Zelda is not to be entertained should you require a spit braai.
