Spongein educational App is a ****. Parents do not join do join.

Spongein educational App in SA is a **** do not subscribe do not be deceived. I joined in 2025 I wanted my son to improve his academics which I really can't prove if it was good value for my money, I didn't see any change in his academics.

After Matrics were done as it was also end of acamedic year I tried unsubscribing on the App as I was told I can simply do it but to my surprise the button was not unchecking even with repeated tapping.

So I notified the person who recruited me to join Spongein of my intention to cancel and that the App doesn't allow cancellations and requested for his help and he told me directly he is not Spongien.

I contacted their main recruiter lady called Masechaba she never responded not even once. I emailed my request to their head office in Gauteng through and they never responded instead they kept on deducting monthly its year 2026 and they are still deducting my bank account without shame.

They told us Spongein is legal and supported by Dept of Education in SA. They are using the name of the Dept to lure in unsuspecting parents, they take advantage of parents's affection towards their kids and ambition to see their kids succeed.

It is my moral duty to warn parents against ****mers like Spongein. Do not join, do not be ****med. Use assistance provided by Dept of Education to access real educational websites and programs.
