Spongein educational App is a ****. Parents do not join do join.
Spongein educational App in SA is a **** do not subscribe do not be deceived. I joined in 2025 I wanted my son to improve his academics which I really can't prove if it was good value for my money, I didn't see any change in his academics. After Matrics were done as it was also end of acamedic year I tried unsubscribing on the App as I was told I can simply do it but to my surprise the button was not unchecking even with repeated tapping. So I notified the person who recruited me to join Spongein of my intention to cancel and that the App doesn't allow cancellations and requested for his help and he told me directly he is not Spongien. I contacted their main recruiter lady called Masechaba she never responded not even once. I emailed my request to their head office in Gauteng through and they never responded instead they kept on deducting monthly its year 2026 and they are still deducting my bank account without shame. They told us Spongein is legal and supported by Dept of Education in SA. They are using the name of the Dept to lure in unsuspecting parents, they take advantage of parents's affection towards their kids and ambition to see their kids succeed. It is my moral duty to warn parents against ****mers like Spongein. Do not join, do not be ****med. Use assistance provided by Dept of Education to access real educational websites and programs.

i have cancelled their services but im still being deducted. ive emailed them and they said they cant see any purchases so i sent them my banking statement to show money being taken and they never responded after that. i dont know what to do now cos evry month R169 is being takena dn theres nothing i can do about it.

Spongein subscription ****
Trying to unscubscribe from them but unable to as there's no unsubscribe tab and they just keep deducting money. Tried contacting their support but cannot.

Spongein is not giving us return for our money, there are no past papers at al
This App is not user friendly at all, I have unsubcribed but they are still deducting monet from my account and I cannot even reverse the payment. This App just shows that these people you cannot get rid of them even if your child no longer needs the App. Please be careful before you sign on

I have registered and pay for this company service but the logins they provided never worked, i logged several calls and they only respond on WhatsApp but no resolution. A month later they automatically deduct on my account but service still not acceptable. I would not advise people to be ****med by Spongein South Africa they are ****mers. They go around the schools and recruit parents to register for their kids but after paying the monthly service, you’re on your own, they are no where to be found. SPONGEIN S.A are bunch of ****mers.
