I booked & paid for Springbok Lodge, Nambiti & then received a call from them, telling me quote was incorrect, that it was in fact double. I received a confirmation from reservations@thespringboklodge.co.za after I had immediately paid the full amount I am really disappointed that they will not honour the original quote.

We stayed in Springbok on outr way to namibia on Saturday 01/04/2017. We booked a house for 4 couples with 2 children) and asked for a 4 bedroom house. When we got there the house that was mentioned in our reservation was not available and the owner put us in a 3 bedroom house in the Main street of Springbok. When asking where the fourth bedroom is, the owner tells us that we could rent another place for R750 for the night.

After driving from Cape town, we expected to get some rest for the days to come, but the consistent noise coming from the caltex garage opposite the street never stopped! Right throughout the night we were subjected to extreme levels of noise pollution. Cars were stopping and going and reffing, doors slamming, music blasting and people shouting at the top of their voices.

After this experience,I and neither of my co-travelers will feel comfortable to recommend Springbok as an overnight destination

We went to Springbok Lodge 3yrs ago as a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday. We decided to go back this year to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Although they got our tent requirements mixed up it was sorted out on arrival. The accommodation is fantastic, the food scrumptious, the service of staff in general was very good and the are friendly and helpful. Our allocated game ranger, Mike was caring, considerate, knowledgeable, great sense of humour, we had at least 3 jokes on each game drive, he was courteous at dinner time when he was responsible for serving our drinks and interacting again and planning for the next day's drive. They have improved the whole luxury tent experience too. We highly recommend Springbok Lodge and will definitely go back again.
