In January I bought a cylinder head from SQP Engine Components in Cape Town for a 2Lt TDI TATA TEelcoline. Warranty for 1 Year or 10000 km issued. In April I had the funds to have it fitted by a mechanic. The vehicle was driven by me, the only owner since new and after 40 Km the engine made strange noises and I stopped it. The vehicle was taken to a well known auto clinic in Cape Town and inspected and a quote given. It was established by them that one valve had collapsed from the new cylinder head and danmaged the piston. Bobby at 0761530217 from the Durban Branch was contacted. He informed at the end of the day that the engine had been tampered with, engine had no oil, there was no water, you can,t wait 4 months to fit the head and that they would not stand by their warranty. The total cost to repair the engine is 35K. All I want is the faulty cylinder Head to be replaced at 7.5 K.

Please Help. Sorry pics won,t load, They will make any bakkie owner cry.
