I bought a wash machine from standard furniture a year and a half ago, my washing machine should be finished paid july 2023. Last month my spinner gave me problems, i contacted the collecter he said he would contact the office to send someone from defy to fix the problem. I only owe r350 on the machine, he gt back to me stating that the machine is only under a year guarentee however i was told it would be under guarentee for the 2 years that im paying.. They now refuse to fix my wash machine, telling me that they willing to fix it only if i pay half of the amount for them which is r500 they came with abform for myself and husband to sign stating that standard is not liable for any cost to having the machine fixed. I am now refusing to pay or sign anything. They just lost a customer.

Hi my name is Mogamat Haroen Moses. I purchased a flat screen TV at standard furniture and we're unable to pay after I lost my job. I still did make random payments afterwards but we're threatened that my TV will be repossessed due to poor payment. The collected Mr amos and his manager Mr waghied came to my house and force ,e to hand over the TV where I refuse to give it cause I did pay quite a sum on it as well as to loose in this case. They didn't ask me once if I can do any other payment arrangements as to just force to hand over the TV. I told them and told his manager to have patience as I will pay him when I'm ready ASAP. I can't help to be unemployed as it wasn't planned but how do you handle this matter. Please assist.
