My name is Simphiwe Zili married to Nonqaba Zili maiden surname Martin.
I'm writing to you with the hope that you will be able to assist me, on 18 February 2022 my wife booked a service with Star Motors in King Williams town, she dropped the car in the morning in the afternoon she was called to come collect the car when she get there she was told that one of the tyres was damaged, she asked what happened to the tyre because she left the car there and there was no issue with the tyre, she was told a **** story by the branch manager Ivo Vankeirsbilck, he then told my wife she will have to pay for the new tyre and they will assist her in getting the tyre, she left the car with there on Saturday the guy phoned and told my wife to come to their shop to pay R3 940.00 that I feel it was a rip off, the gentleman refused to meet my wife half way and force her to pay the full amount, I phoned the guy to find out why we have to pay for the tyre that we did not damage, he started mumbling and we ended up fighting on the phone and he was very rude I told him the way he handled this was unprofessional and I don't thing he is fit to be a branch manager for such a big company, please kindly help me to get to the bottom of this as Mercedes Benz King Williams Town left my bank account with a huge hole that we did not budget for, we paid almost the same amount for the full service all in all we paid +-8 000.00
