The service provider has consistently failed to meet acceptable uptime standards. Despite contractually committing to a 99.9% uptime—at a significant cost to our business—this commitment has proven to be nothing more than a series of empty promises.
Over the past three months alone, we have experienced repeated outages lasting days at a time. The only response we receive, without exception, is:
"We will follow up with our upstream provider."
This response has become meaningless. There are no incident reports, no meaningful feedback, no root cause analysis, and absolutely no accountability even after requesting this from the service provider. Communication is vague, reactive, and ultimately unhelpful.
Stem Connect has directly contributed to financial losses amounting to millions for our business. To date, there has been no visible effort, corrective action plan, or measurable improvement from their side to demonstrate any intention of resolving these issues long-term.
The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that we have been forced to invest in two fibre lines and a satellite connection (almost tripling our premiums) simply to protect our clients from further losses. This level of redundancy should not be necessary if the contracted service was delivered as promised.
In summary, the service has been damaging to our business, unreliable, the support inadequate, and the accountability nonexistent.
