Our MAIN emails have been off since the weekend. I have reported each day since Monday for the last 3 days. They're story is that they have been compromised and are moving all affected clients over to a new server. This is a global company. We have been losing business since Monday and the issue is still not resolved. This definitely implicates the security they offer clients as well as their incapability to resolve issues like this. We do not get updates and if you phone them it's the same story "We will let you know once it has been resolved"

If you value reliability and transparency, steer clear of Stem Connect. Our fibre line has been down for several days, and not once have we received a proper update or explanation. Every time we contact support, we’re met with vague stories and excuses ....they themselves don’t even seem to know what the actual problem is. No communication: Zero proactive updates, leaving customers in the dark. No accountability: Support agents recycle the same empty responses without solutions. No reliability: Fibre service has been completely unavailable for days. This level of incompetence is unacceptable for a service that people depend on daily for work communication. I strongly advise anyone considering using Stem to look elsewhere. You willl save yourself frustration, wasted time, and money.

We are paying for a premium service but receiving a sub-standard product with zero reliability. The reality of being a Stem Connect customer: Constant Outages: The internet is down more than it is up. Poor Communication: We have to chase them for updates while our ticket numbers just sit in a queue. Zero Accountability: Despite being a recurring issue, there has been no permanent fix or offer of compensation for the loss of service. As a consumer, I expect reliability. Stem Connect has failed to deliver even the basics. I am currently in the process of escalating this to ISPA and looking for a new provider.

The service provider has consistently failed to meet acceptable uptime standards. Despite contractually committing to a 99.9% uptime—at a significant cost to our business—this commitment has proven to be nothing more than a series of empty promises. Over the past three months alone, we have experienced repeated outages lasting days at a time. The only response we receive, without exception, is: "We will follow up with our upstream provider." This response has become meaningless. There are no incident reports, no meaningful feedback, no root cause analysis, and absolutely no accountability even after requesting this from the service provider. Communication is vague, reactive, and ultimately unhelpful. Stem Connect has directly contributed to financial losses amounting to millions for our business. To date, there has been no visible effort, corrective action plan, or measurable improvement from their side to demonstrate any intention of resolving these issues long-term. The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that we have been forced to invest in two fibre lines and a satellite connection (almost tripling our premiums) simply to protect our clients from further losses. This level of redundancy should not be necessary if the contracted service was delivered as promised. In summary, the service has been damaging to our business, unreliable, the support inadequate, and the accountability nonexistent. I CANNOT RECCOMEND THIS SERVICE PROVIDER IN GOOD CONSCIENCE

Terrible service. We are down for days at a time with no estimated time of restoration provided. They themselves do not know when their own lines are down, and when they do schedule maintenance periods, it goes well beyond their stated times. The famous "we are waiting on upstream provider" line is getting old. Our customers are suffering and they do not seem to care. Please choose another service provider.

We had staff waiting until the early hours of the morning for technicians to arrive on site - they never pitched up. Support people deflect our calls to other technicians. They are unable to provide us with an ETA for connection after 2 days of them "investigating". Do not use STEM.

Our experience with STEM during the month of May has been nothing short of catastrophic. We endured multiple fibre outages — some lasting for days — without any stable connection and with little to no clarity from STEM’s support team. Each time we reached out, we were met with vague or conflicting responses and no concrete timelines for resolution. This ongoing instability and lack of accountability have cost our business millions of Rands in revenue. Just as damaging, however, is the toll it’s taken on our customers. Many of our clients rely on us for uninterrupted service, and STEM’s failures have caused missed deadlines, broken trust, and widespread dissatisfaction among our customer base. We’ve lost business, and worse, we’ve lost credibility. We’ve built our reputation on reliability — something STEM has completely undermined. Their inability to provide consistent service or transparent communication has hurt not just us, but everyone we serve. We strongly discourage any business from partnering with STEM. If reliability, accountability, and client satisfaction matter to you, look elsewhere.
