Our experience with STEM during the month of May has been nothing short of catastrophic. We endured multiple fibre outages — some lasting for days — without any stable connection and with little to no clarity from STEM’s support team. Each time we reached out, we were met with vague or conflicting responses and no concrete timelines for resolution.
This ongoing instability and lack of accountability have cost our business millions of Rands in revenue. Just as damaging, however, is the toll it’s taken on our customers. Many of our clients rely on us for uninterrupted service, and STEM’s failures have caused missed deadlines, broken trust, and widespread dissatisfaction among our customer base. We’ve lost business, and worse, we’ve lost credibility.
We’ve built our reputation on reliability — something STEM has completely undermined. Their inability to provide consistent service or transparent communication has hurt not just us, but everyone we serve.
We strongly discourage any business from partnering with STEM. If reliability, accountability, and client satisfaction matter to you, look elsewhere.
