Expensive cover charge

Last night we came all the way from Paarl to have a drink at Striped Horse only to find out about this rediculess R50 cover charge. I wondered why there where only a few people inside and then I realized it's about the cover charge. We left and we will never go back again. We use to drive out there twice a month because we thought it was such a cool pub, expensive but cool..... Now we have to pay a exstra cover charge after we drove 70k's to get to Striped Horse... !!!! No no, never again. There are other better beach pubs also in Cape Town. Striped Horse is now history. (Sorry to say)
