I experienced poor customer service and would like to share to avoid others going through this. Yesterday I went to Stylez at the Ridge at Shallcross to do a pedicure, I was very disappointed with their service. An initial employee messed up my nail polish as she rushed the job and it started to clump. A second employee tried to fix it but had to repeat the process another 2 time which resulted in the skin around my toe being bruised and acid tone being applied to the broken skin. My toe is still currently irritated as when I took a shower it burned. I posted a compliant on their Facebook page and I reposted on my page only to find out this morning that page and my post vanished. Sadly the initial employee who messed my nails up in the first place ignored me as if it was my fault and did not even show the slightest of concern when the other employee tried to assist me. The end result was untidy and the colors on one foot appeared lighter than the other. Now I need to look for someone to help me remove this nail polish.

this is the 4th time i am writing a review for this same company who keeps stealing my money!!! i work a job that pays me a salary where i barely make it at the nd of the month and this *****N* ROGUE company keeps stealing my money!!!. this is the second time in 2 months that my money was taken out of my account with no consent from me!!!! i am ****ed of and i need/want my money back as soon as possible! i am tired of ASTRAL GROUP taking my money for no Reason.

I had taken out a 12 month gym contract in October 2016 of which no copy of the contract was handed to me as i was told that once the contract term ends my debit will automatically stop. i now find that they are still debiting my account. I have sent through numerous emails to ********** of which is a waste of my time as i have yet to get a response from them and as for there landlines just rings continuously . In a week I had held on the line for more that 15mins hoping that someone would answer the fone . I am really P _ _ _ _D OFF. I had sent an email to Styles in Shalcross on ********** of which is another waste. however i am still waiting for them to rectify this as i had signed a contract at their premises and not at their head office. I will ensure that all the additional debits be credited back into my account as no one from stylez had contact me to even ask if i would want to renew my contract but yet decided on their own will to continue debiting me. Note : Do not use STYLEZ(ASTRAL GROUP) for anything ... they have no customer s****s nor are they customer orientated. Pathethic Service ....

I received a call today 06/02/2018 from a lady following up on payment for my gym membership and stated that I need to pay 6 months worth of gym payments or I will be handed over to their lawyers. I was quite confused as to what payment due to an ordeal of me been debited twice a month last year over two consecutive months . I sent 2 emails to query these unauthorized debit orders but it was read and not responded to (I have the emails of read receipts as well as the emails I sent, in which I highlighted the amounts debited on my bank statements for two months). After numerous calls to head office as to why my emails were never responded to, their phone just rang so I didnt receive any assistance via their telephone as well as their email. I thereafter proceeded to the gym at the Ridge personally on 27/10/2017 and spoke to an employee of the gym who I explained my concerns to and asked him to cancel my contract as the service at the gym was appalling. He assured me that I would be removed from the system and my debit query would be forwarded to Head office. I thereafter went to my bank and put a stop order on allowing Stylez gym to debit my account as I was not the only member at the gym been debited twice!!! (if you read their reviews on their facebook page, it speaks for itself). Since the whole ordeal on 27th October, I have not gymed at Stylez as I was aware that my contract had been cancelled and I had even disposed of the membership card. I will not be paying for a membership that I asked to be cancelled.

after looking at my bank statements today, 23/01/2018 i noticed that money was taken out of my account on the 15/12/2017 again. Although it is only R89 it still is my R89 that i work hard for. if i did not look at my statements i would of never known that they took money out of my account. this is not the first time im having a problem with Astral group, its actually the 3rd time i'm having this problem with money being taken out of my account! how many other people are they doin this to? i want my money in my account TODAY! i will not pay admin fee for something that ASTRAL Group messed up on their side! im ****ed off. i regret dealing with astral group because ever since i joined the STYLES WELLNESS GYM i have had numerous problems with them! i WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

after looking at my bank statements today, 23/01/2018 i noticed that money was taken out of my account on the 15/12/2017 again. I have been a client with Stylez Gym for almost a year now. Never missed a payment and have continued even though the Durban branch's equipment is running at 70%. Nevertheless the last three months they have double and sometimes tripled depot order off my account. Now....after three months of trying to get hold of their head office (seems to be non existent) yesterday I was told to forward an email to get refund on my account. Now someone needs to explain.... Firstly why was I never contacted? When I told the problem existed they seemed to know already what the issue was. Secondly, there previous management was fired due to theft however it seems to be an existing problem. Thirdly...if I had not contacted them they would have kept on accessing my account fraudulently and still they tried again this morning. What is going on there. They need to be stopped.

Their attractive prices on their goods got my attention. I made the payment and patiently awaited an update on my order. After 3 days i heard nothing and my order status was still on : Pending. Their contact form has no phone number or email address, so i completed it online requesting assistance. I received an auto responder (with a link to my order). I clicked on the link again today and suddenly my account doesn't exist. When i tried to sign up again it said that my email already exists... In Short - there is no way of contacting these people and their website isn't very helpful with regards to contacting them, shipping, returns etc. I would be careful if you decide to purchase from this site. I immediately contacted my bank and asked them to reverse the payment which they did.

I am a new member at the Stylez Wellness Centre at the Ridge (+/- 3 months now) and I know what correct customer service is, unfortunately the customer service that I have received has been despicable at Stylez I have had many deplorable incidences at Stylez with the staff's incompetency and would like this issue to be dealt, with immediate effect. Incident 1 When I first enrolled, I wanted to have my hair cut , the “Staff” argued about who was actually going to assist me IN FRONT OF MY SISTERS AND I , only for a very unprofessional and inexperienced girl to completely ruin my hair, I had just a large amount of hair chopped off leaving my hair with no shape at all, I then had to visit a professional hair dresser to fix it which was another expense to me, did not take up this issue has it was the first incident so I took it has just a coincidental mess up. Incident 2 I made an appointment for a mani and pedi, went in for my appointment on time, only to be informed by the lady doing my nails that no one had informed her of the pedicure, so she could only do my manicure. I was then told to come in the following evening for the pedicure, this was very frustrating has I had other plans for the next evening and had to cancel due to this, she apologised, and once again I dissolved the incident. Incident 3 My acrylic nails has only lasted a week and now removal is required asap has it is breaking apart which I know from personal experience and having done my nails elsewhere that the acrylic nails are meant to last for at least a month, it is now looking quite ghastly, I visited the gym on Tuesday night 17 October 2017 to request removal of the acrylic nails, the guy who assisted gave me 18 October 2017 @18:30 as the next available appointment date, which he confirmed with another staff member and I agreed for said date and time, to my dismay when I arrived at the gym there was a sign on the door indicating closure at 18:00 due to Diwali, I do not have a problem with the closure, I have a problem with the fact that there was no communication from Stylez to me, to inform me of the closure and a suggested postponement of my appointment. My Point – The organising of appointments should be priority especially with this type of entity, surely the closure was not a spur off the moment decision, unless you are running a circus, when I signed up all of my contact details were required, so there is no excuse or reason for not informing me of the closure. My time and fuel was wasted for which in my opinion I should be complimentary reimbursed leaving the fact that I cancelled other plans to accommodate these appointments mentioned above. This third incident was the final straw for me!! Very dissatisfied, frustrated and extremely irate client.
