Hi Subaru
Hi Subaru. I'm requesting you to open another branch in Durban. While I enjoy my Forester, it pains me to have to take it to Emond Auto. Since other workshops don't keep parts, front struts in my case, I'm forced to go to Emond Auto. After they replaced my struts and control arms, 30 seconds into my drive, I heard a horrible rattle which made me scared to drive as it sounded like my wheels were going to fall off. I had to take it back in another day which is an inconvenience, and they said they didn't tighten the bolts. It obviously didn't go for a test drive which they confirmed they did. While this is my last poor experience with them, I've left a numerous messages for Dave Emond or Tracy to contact me, but sadly Emond Auto simply refuses to respond. Since I can't find a reliable mechanic in Durban, my next vehicle won't be a Subaru. Please contact Emond Auto which is your nominated dealer and get them to get their act together.

Assistance outside a booking.
My Car started jerking after a while after a service. I took a gap and drove to Subaru Modderfontein and asked Mario if they can have a look. He put his best man on the job and i just cannot recall his name but he started the car and drove it streight into the workshop. 20 min later i drove out there problem solved. I must commend them and especially that knowledgable mechanic. Mario knows who it is. Thank you guys. As always outstanding service.

Subaru Plumstead sucks
Thorp Subaru Plumstead are also Subaru agents, I have owned two Subarus and have watched the overall decline of this dealership over the past few years, unfortunately I have had to go back to them after their shoddy repair work caused an engine failure. I would not recommend them in any way, and it was a mistake on my part to think that they would stand by their work, try to help fix the issue. I have also complained to Subaru SA multiple times without any real support. As such this will be my last Subaru, and I will never be able to recommend them to anyone.

Subaru Plumstead sucks
Thorp Subaru Plumstead are also Subaru agents, I have owned two Subarus and have watched the overall decline of this dealership over the past few years, unfortunately I have had to go back to them after their shoddy repair work caused an engine failure. Taking advantage of their own mistakes
Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my experience with Subaru Edenvale. In 2021, I took a delivery of a Forester which had a damaged bumper. Fortunately it was replaced. Then, this year, the USB insert needed replacement under warranty. Not only did it take ages, but the technicians scratched the centre console of the vehicle with what looked like a ***** driver. The car had to go back twice for this to be sorted and it still isn't. The dealer principal agreed to take the vehicle off my hands at an agreed price and I placed an order for another vehicle. Seven months later, and the salesman comes back with a price that is R70,000 lower. Clearly, they're acting in bad faith and are looking to make money off of their mistakes. Would not recommend buying a vehicle from them and certainly wouldn't recommend servicing a vehicle with them.
