I'm sad that I'm forced to do business with Emond Auto. After my last extremely poor experience, I can't seem to get anyone to explain why they didn't tighten the bolts to my control arms and struts when I bought it in for replacement. It sounded like my wheels were going to fall off and I had to take my vehicle in again another day. 30 seconds in to the ride Lennon identified the issue. This was the last of a list of painful experiences with Emond Auto. Now my problem here is that I was assured that Tracy or Dave Emond would get back to me. Nothing. When I called in again a few days later, the receptionist told me she doesn't understand why they won't return my calls and that she's passed the message on. Since you won't reply, perhaps a request here on hello peter is how I get your attention My next vehicle will be something other than a Subaru, purely due to the level of service I'm getting from Emond Auto which is the only authorised Subaru workshop in Durban.
Hi Subaru. I'm requesting you to open another branch in Durban. While I enjoy my Forester, it pains me to have to take it to Emond Auto. Since other workshops don't keep parts, front struts in my case, I'm forced to go to Emond Auto. After they replaced my struts and control arms, 30 seconds into my drive, I heard a horrible rattle which made me scared to drive as it sounded like my wheels were going to fall off. I had to take it back in another day which is an inconvenience, and they said they didn't tighten the bolts. It obviously didn't go for a test drive which they confirmed they did. While this is my last poor experience with them, I've left a numerous messages for Dave Emond or Tracy to contact me, but sadly Emond Auto simply refuses to respond. Since I can't find a reliable mechanic in Durban, my next vehicle won't be a Subaru. Please contact Emond Auto which is your nominated dealer and get them to get their act together.
You've enabled two factor authentication which is great, but your SMS system doesn't seem to work. I've tried my own number and two other numbers to get an SMS, but I do not receive anything. Consider using email to send the OTP if your SMS gateway is problematic. It's not in my spam folder. I have checked.
I purchased some DKNY perfume from this seller but the spraying mechanism is broken hence the perfume is unusable. The seller reply to email, whatsapp or numerous phone calls. There are also some subtle differences between the item I received, and one you would get from a shop for some inexplicable reason. It seems that a barcode that should be on the bottle and some stickers that should be there are missing.
I bought DKNY perfume from these guys, but the spraying mechanism doesn't work. They now refuse to answer their phone, email or whatsapp after telling me they'll be sending a replacement. After getting suspicious and looking how to tell a real from **** product, it seems that they are selling **** perfume with sophisticated packaging advertised as originals. There is no serial number on the box or bottle, the box looks ever so slightly different, and no sticker at the bottom of the bottle. I've reported them as a counterfeit goods seller
Nedbank sends me a SMS stating they're going to close my account because I'm not registered with FICA. I ignore this and then also get an email, so I reckon they must be on to something. Turns out they want to close my credit card account that I asked them to close 13 years ago and has been dormant for more than a decade. At 16:30 sharp my call cuts and I can't call back since that department is now closed. I call another number who then explains I need to go in to a branch to fix this. I ditched nedbank because I had to go in to the branch too often due to their stuffups. Eventually I tell the agent to just close my account since I'm not going in, but was told the department that closes accounts is now also closed. What are you doing Nedbank???
I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received from shopping4africa. Being a bit unknown and quite a bit cheaper I thought it may be a less reputable site. My item arrived quickly and the added touch of a thank you note and a pen was something nice they didn't have to do. I'd use them again
I figured I'd give Leroy Merlin a chance as I saw some batteries on sale at ther online store which I purchased, but a bit later I got a notification that I purchased something else. No worries I thought, but I logged a ticket just to make sure there's no error. I however got no response for a few days. I then had to call back in to speak with an agent, who stated they'd get back to me (which they never did). A 3rd party seller then contacted me stating that they had an item listing error and I'd be refunded and blamed the system. I got my money back, but not after a lot of wasted effort chasing up leroy merlin. Also looking at their T's and C's w.r.t. returns, I'd rather give my money to one of the many other online retailers. Lerory merlin has now updated their listing which is probably the most expensive I've seen for this item online.
I bought some hiking boots online and needed to exchange them as they were too small. Bonge from the Pavilion Branch was superb from the start. When she looked through all other stores for the correct size and couldn't find one in stock, she took me to find another suitable replacement and then helped me find a great bargain shoe. Having a friendly and cheerful employee is not always valued as much as it should be. It really makes the customer want to come back to your store.
I upgraded my galaxy S10 which reached end of support to a S22 to stay up to date with updates and security patches. A monthly security update was promised with their flagship series at the time for a few years. Just over a year in, and they've stopped updating the phone. Updates ceased in October 2023. I asked Samsung for an explanation, but they just said to wait. If a security update is marked as critical, why would I want a vulnerable phone?
