**Review of Suncity Cabana Rooms: A Disheartening Experience** I recently had the misfortune of staying at Suncity Cabana Rooms from February 7th to February 9th, and I feel compelled to share my experience, which was, quite frankly, disheartening. Located conveniently, Suncity has long been a go-to destination for my family and me; however, each subsequent visit seems to reveal a more alarming decline in standards. Upon our arrival, we were assigned rooms 2239 and 2240 under the care of Mr. Gramani. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of a cascade of hurdles that marred our stay. The problems began almost immediately: the shower doors in both rooms were faulty and fell off their hinges. Granted, mechanical issues can occur, but when they do, there should be a prompt and efficient response from the management. Regrettably, this was not the case. To make matters worse, the kettle in our room was non-functional, and the fridge was entirely defrosted, leading to water pooling across the floor. This flooding not only created an uncomfortable environment but also raised concerns regarding hygiene and safety. We lodged a complaint with the maintenance manager on Friday, followed by two additional requests for assistance on Saturday. To our utter dismay, not a single resolution was provided during this time. Checking out on Sunday, we expected some acknowledgment of our grievances. Instead, the attendant merely offered a generic apology, stating, "We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.” A mere platitude for the numerous issues we faced. What is even more disheartening is that as loyal guests, we anticipated that our concerns would be addressed in a meaningful way rather than dismissed with empty gestures. Suncity’s pricing has steadily increased over the years, but with such a visible degradation in service and accommodation quality, one must question the value being offered. It is clear that the management needs to reassess their approach to customer service and maintenance. Training staff on effective customer interaction, regardless of a guest’s contentment level, would be an invaluable step toward improvement. In conclusion, the Suncity Cabana Rooms are nothing short of disappointing. Each year our experiences seem to degrade further, leaving us to reconsider our future visits. It is my hope that management will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary adjustments to restore the resort to the standard expected by its patrons. Until significant changes are made, I cannot recommend this establishment.
