I cancelled within the valid period and its been nearly 3 weeks but I still have not received my refund. The team said payment has been initiated then another sent an eft form to complete. This is extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. I do not understand how they can hold onto my funds this long without settling me!

I have shares at Sun City Aviary and booked for a holiday from 30January to 02February . My first day has been a nightmare with the allocated unit full of ants. After reporting this to management and being promised to be moved to another unit,we are still seated and waiting to be moved at 22h19

Why does SunCity send us complimentary stays when we try to call no answer or a bot does not assist with complimentary booking then when we do get through we are told there is no rooms available???? Ridiculous service

**Review of Suncity Cabana Rooms: A Disheartening Experience** I recently had the misfortune of staying at Suncity Cabana Rooms from February 7th to February 9th, and I feel compelled to share my experience, which was, quite frankly, disheartening. Located conveniently, Suncity has long been a go-to destination for my family and me; however, each subsequent visit seems to reveal a more alarming decline in standards. Upon our arrival, we were assigned rooms 2239 and 2240 under the care of Mr. Gramani. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of a cascade of hurdles that marred our stay. The problems began almost immediately: the shower doors in both rooms were faulty and fell off their hinges. Granted, mechanical issues can occur, but when they do, there should be a prompt and efficient response from the management. Regrettably, this was not the case. To make matters worse, the kettle in our room was non-functional, and the fridge was entirely defrosted, leading to water pooling across the floor. This flooding not only created an uncomfortable environment but also raised concerns regarding hygiene and safety. We lodged a complaint with the maintenance manager on Friday, followed by two additional requests for assistance on Saturday. To our utter dismay, not a single resolution was provided during this time. Checking out on Sunday, we expected some acknowledgment of our grievances. Instead, the attendant merely offered a generic apology, stating, "We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.” A mere platitude for the numerous issues we faced. What is even more disheartening is that as loyal guests, we anticipated that our concerns would be addressed in a meaningful way rather than dismissed with empty gestures. Suncity’s pricing has steadily increased over the years, but with such a visible degradation in service and accommodation quality, one must question the value being offered. It is clear that the management needs to reassess their approach to customer service and maintenance. Training staff on effective customer interaction, regardless of a guest’s contentment level, would be an invaluable step toward improvement. In conclusion, the Suncity Cabana Rooms are nothing short of disappointing. Each year our experiences seem to degrade further, leaving us to reconsider our future visits. It is my hope that management will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary adjustments to restore the resort to the standard expected by its patrons. Until significant changes are made, I cannot recommend this establishment.

I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed by the service I have received upon my stay suncity cabanas! we arrived on the 1st May 2024 checked in at 4pm into the cabanas. The floors were smelly and dirty as well as the toilet. I had my 6 year old with me, she just wanted to go get some supper and play games.I did not make a fuss about the rooms that night. I waited till the morning for the cleaning staff and then asked them to please clean my floors and my toilet properly.This was told to the cleaning lady three times.We were out for the rest of the day and returned at 10pm to the room.When we checked the floors and toilet it was still disgusting and had not been cleaned.The same spots of dirt that was on the floor the first day was still there and the toilet had the worst smell ever.My bed was not dusted or even dressed properly. The room was so poorly maintained, seems like I paid to stay at a cheap BnB! I then compalined to the guy at reception who didnt seem to care.Someone came to my room at 11pm to check what was happening and said he would send someone to clean my room at 11pm when my 6 year old child is sleeping. This was just a complete in**** and disrespect.Toilets at the entertainment center were always dirty and so unhygienic. I have spoken to 4 different managers and no one was able to help me or slove this problem. To date I have not gotten any feed back. Suncity has been our yearly trip but it won't be again and I won't be referring anyone else to this resort!

DEATH TRAP ROOMS. Room 2326 and 2327 Spent more than R30 000 on accommodation hoping to have a good vacation but instead got a real ***sty room. Light switch in room broken. My child almost got electrocuted and would have possibly died if I didn't save him in time from putting his hand into it. Shower is extremely dirty with dirt, algae and grime. Sink is filthy with dirt and grime. Sofa is absolutely filthy and stained. Sheets in sofa that's provided is stained and full of dirt. Cupboard are broken with no doors . Bed is not balanced with one leg in the air. Light fittings are broken in the room with full of dirt and dust and bugs. Spider infested with spiders under or behind cupboards. Kettles provided are broken and filthy. Fridge drawer is dirty, chipped broken wood and very disgusting BREAKFAST. Receptionist at breakfast very rude. God help this place to get better like how it was in the past. This family vacation was an absolutely nightmare and a disaster thanks to Suncity cabanas. Will definitely not go back. I had membership with Sun vacation club and when I cancelled membership after my husbands passing I was told that I had a refund of R3500 when I tried to claim it I was told I need to submit a letter of executirship and an estate account which happened after a year because of the delays that can occur when you wound the estate . To my surprise I was told I can longer get that refund because it was repossessed this after all the monies we’ve paid and did not even get booking once in 3 years .
