We purchased a slush machine from Sunrose on 23 September 2025. It was unboxed brand new at our client’s premises and did not work.
We returned it the following week and were told we had broken it. To avoid delays, we paid for the repair. After more than a month, it was returned — still not working. It was sent back again, and now, five months later (23 February 2026), the machine is still in their possession along with our R18,000.
We cannot get hold of the manager, Lorenzo, have been given invalid email addresses, and despite requesting a refund, we are told they cannot confirm receipt.
The machine has never worked once. This is unacceptable and appears to be in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act. We will be taking this further.
