I handed in a suit for dry-cleaning at Superkleen Kempton Park Branch on Wednesday, 27 September. I was told the suit will be ready by 14:00, Friday, 29 September. I asked 3 times if they are 100 % sure it will be ready by then, since it is for my son's matric farewell that evening (29th) I was reassured thrice. When I arrived at 14:00, the suit was not ready. The driver was apparently on his way from Edenvale and estimated time of arrival 14:15. At 14:30 I requested the assistants to phone the driver to find out his exact location. He put down the phone in the lady's ear...
We were supposed to be in Boksburg by 15:00 for the photographs and collection of the car. The suit finally arrived at 15:00, causing us to be an hour behind schedule. They still expected me to pay the invoice of R150... I phoned the owner, a mister Morgan Naidoo and tried to lay a complaint but he just yelled: "I am driving, I can't talk right now. Phone the shop". I send him a sms with details of my complaint. About half an hour later he phoned me and asked if I received the suit I told him yes and tried to proceed to tell him (in a calm, civilised manner) the inconvenience caused, he started yelling again that he had to take his head presser to hospital and put the phone down in my ear. I do understand if emergencies (like taking an employee to hospital) happen, but that is still not an excuse to be so extremely rude to (paying!!!) customers.
