I initially placed and paid for an order of 12 overall suits on the 10th of September, I confirmed sizes in store but the sales person who assisted then spent the next 3 days asking me which sizes I wanted. I then requested to deal with another person in the company. A lady called Sharlene took over my order. On the 16th of September I then called to make amendments to the sizes of the items ordered due to changes on my client's side. The amendments were then confirmed by this lady, she indicated that the stock had already been delivered to the store from warehouse but she will then send them back and request the new sizes as per amendment. From the 16th to the 25th September there was no movement, no updates of what the situation is with the order. on the 25th after numerous unanswered calls, emails and whatsapps, I called and spoke to a lady by the name Anita, in the call she confirmed that my order was ready in store for dispatch as per the new amendments. I then informed her not to dispatch via courier instead I asked her to hold them instore and I will collect the following day on the 26th because I couldn't afford anymore delays from them or the courier side. I proceeded to drive 2 hours from the Vaal to their store in Pretoria, only to discover that the order is incorrect, it still reflects the initial sizes pre-amendments, meaning the stuff has just been there all along nothing being done. I resell these items and they form part of a larger client order that amounts to close to R100 000. My client no longer wants these items and wants to cancel the entire order due to failure to perform on my end, mind you I have everything else that makes up this order more than 91 items. only the 12 overalls are outstanding for me to make delivery. while we are there on the 26th none of the ladies I dealt with would come own up to this mess, the one who confirmed that my order was correct the previous day is nowhere to be found, the junior stuff are in fact telling me that even if she appears that won't resolve the issue. Finally in the midst of my frustration a male manager whose name I forgot turns up, we go into a room and I relate this very story to him after which I indicate to him that I have spent 2hrs and R600 on fuel coming there in an attempt to salvage the deal with my client. As such I make it clear to him that in spite of all the shortcomings on their end, I am not interested in confrontation I simply want the goods I paid for, I'll wait for them then and there since I am already there. He goes to the back storage to check whether he can put together my order with other stock on hand. He returns having realized that he cannot piece it together, and states that it is my fault for having changed the sizes and that the company has a "no returns policy" to which I say, they then need to refund me. His response to that is that they also have a "no refund policy". At that point I am dumbfounded, I tell him that is against the consumer protection act, he then leaves the policies on the table and storms out of the room vowing not to deal with me further. I go back home empty handed. First thing Monday morning, the 29th of September. Having calmed down, I call them to find out what the way forward is, I speak to a gentleman by the name of Hein/Hien who is supposedly the director, he again cheekily states that it is my fault for changing sizes and that changing sizes is a process but he has given his juniors authorization to return the goods to "warehouse" and get me the correct sizes, to which I say okay but can I get them today because I'm long past due with my client, He says no, they will dispatch only the following week Monday/Tuesday which would be the 6th/7th of October. I speak to Sharlene on Monday, she guarantees that I'll get them latest the following day, Tuesday the 7th of October. As I type this all my whatsapp texts are being ignored/ when I call , the calls go unanswered. I am still out of pocket R4 888.65 and there are no overalls in sight full on approaching a month.
