Hi my pool was build by them 8 years ago by them, with a fiber glass lining. After about one year they had to do the pool over because the fiberglass was coming loose from the concrete, after a long wait, and calls they re-done the fiberglass. After it was done, i walked inside the pool and knock on the side of the pool, there was a lot of places where the fiber sounded hollow, as not sticking with the concrete, i marked that with a pen. I asked Tony to come and have an look. He told me when you fill the pool with water it will push the fiberglass to the concrete. Not even a year after that i found small pieces of fiberglass in the wear. The fiberglass now cracked and it seems i would have to do the whole pool over again. I will never ever refer you as a company!!!!! Lesson learned, if you use a pool company asked if they are belonging to the pool association, and phone previous clients where work was done. Hoe se hulle die wiel draai stadig, maar hy draai.

Worst Installation and service. Stay away. Swemco Installed a cracked (Pools for Africa) fibre glass pool March 2016, repaired it like a Grade R school project. Sunpanels plumbed incorrectly, pump and filter plumbing done 4 times in order to make it work and now resembles something out of Chernobyl - patched, blanked and bypassed meltdown network of confusion. Quality Pump seazed after a year and the Quality sand filter burst after 18 months. Not even the chlorinator housing can be reused. And now the paving is falling in. After 2 years, alot of emails and promises, Tony De Beer is a No-Show. Don't waste your money on them. Have your pool done by a professional company.

Stay away from these scammers. They seem to believe below quality work is acceptable. Even a laymen like me could see that their cement preperation and fibreglass pool liner work was shoddy. When I queried and stopped the work to get a second and third opinion it was clear the liner would not last a year. All other pipe work and heating was done very well and neatly there it was clear they know what they are doing. Unfortunately I paid a 75% deposit and after cancelling the the fibreglass liner part of the job, TONY DE BEER, the full time owner and part time crook stated he's not going to "loose on this job and could have fixed it". And that "I actually owe him money"....So goodbye R20 000 After doing some research I found a few other unhappy clients. Save yourself from headaches and pains and many other problems, use someone else.

I recently contacted Swemco pools regarding a leak on my pool. They said they would require a R500 deposit paid upfront before they could do the assessment. I imediately transfered the money and awaited their pool technicians. After having to make several calls to enquire when they would come do the assessment, I was suprised when three completely unprofessional men pulled up claiming to be from Swemco. Luckily the bakkie was branded with the swemco logo so I allowed them in. They clearly had no idea what they were assessing and confirmed after 5 minutes that they will have to let "Our boss come out and see what is wrong with the pool". Another week and a few phone calls passed untill I eventualy told the owner Tony to rather reimburse my money and I will contact another pool company. He blatantly refused to do so claiming I paid for the call out. Please be carefull of these thieves. Do NOT do business with this company!!

I contacted Swemco Pools due to my pool pump not operating optimally. They advised after inspection that the pump had worn parts and that it would be better to replace rather than fix it.
I opted for the replacement which I paid for including a few additional services done.

As my original pump was still operating (although the suction was not 100%) I requested that I want this returned as I want to use it for another purpose - just to find out that they disassembled it for parts. I queried this and they confirmed that they'll assemble it again and return it to me.

1 week later and I received the pump back but in two pieces with the feedback that I must pay to have it put back together! I'm not sure that all the parts are there nor that it'll work if I do have it put together.
