Be careful of their false advertising. My husband was introduced to Swimmattix in The Powder Mill, Sunrise Circle, Pinelands at the beginning of 2024 by a friend. They advertised one free session of aqua aerobics and upon enrolment a free swimming cap. He went to the free session and felt this was the ideal exercise that he needed so he enrolled and paid the full fee but unfortunately after the next session he developed the most terrible back pain. We did write to Swimmattix advising what had happened and that he would come back once he was able. He never did go back as he felt that it was the exercises that had affected his back and was not willing to risk it again. He was issued the free swimming cap but there was absolutely no way on earth that it would fit a grown man so the lady gave him a bigger one. Suddenly after he pulled out we received an account of R160 for the cap. I questioned this with them as they advertised a free cap so how could they charge us now. I was given an excuse that the free cap was made of silicone and the replacement was of some other material and he had to pay for it. At no stage during the switching of the caps did the woman mention anything about the difference in material and that he would have to pay for it. We refused out of principle to pay for this cap as the advert did NOT say “free child’s silicone cap”, it simply said free cap and one would expect to be given a cap that would fit. I even offered to drop of the cap if they wanted it back but they never responded to this. A few emails went back and forward at the time but they would not listen to reason and I eventually resorted to ignoring them but unfortunately after 18 months they are still demanding payment, threatening to have us black listed. I have asked them to refrain from harassing us further, I have said out of principle I will not pay for something that is supposed to be free and if they want to black list me, please go ahead. I also advised that should I receive any further communication from them, they will be giving me permission to list them on Hello Peter and any other social media platforms that I see fit. Believe it or not they are still harassing me with demands. So please be careful of these people with their false advertising and harassment.

We notified Swimmattix in time that we will be dropping out [emails shared with Swimmattix and Accountability] We didnt do the lessons for an entire month after we gave "notice" We continued getting "absentee" messages for that month entire We tried explaining, and sent screenshots of the absent message that included the "termination" message; but we keep getting final notice emails. We tried explaining to Accountability/Swimmattix debt collector, they also decided to not accept our explanation, and continue to issue more warning emails that we need to pay [for what, when we notified them in time??] This clearly is not about payment, our team is asking, is it lack of professionalism, or is it xenophobia

I enroled there for a special they had from june. I was paying R350 or so every month. End of December they sent an email about for me to register for the new year and it was not stating my fees will increase to R700. I made a query about that and they **** saying they sent an email. The email they sent for fees I acknowledged and payed the amount. Now they are ruining my credit score for their failure typical "mnqa" businesses. Whenever they called kept blaming me not them. Don't ever join this unless you want bul**** by this "business"

The is a clear trend across all the negative reviews - The owner Matt Pike with pathetic customer service and the fact that they do not care about the wellbeing of your kids. Our child was given a new teacher who could not teach or build trust with a child. I would not recommend this school AT ALL.

I find it extremely ********* to promote a "Free lessons" program for babies under 5 months old, only to charge R600 for the first month once they turn 5 months. It gets worse: after the "free" trial, I stopped attending but was billed an additional R600 cancellation fee. So, these "free" lessons ended up costing me R1,200, plus another R300 for a waterproof diaper. Despite my efforts, they refused to cancel this additional fee. This is a highly deceptive way of extracting money from the public.
