Taxi driver

I have run out of options looking for help.

Whilst travelling to work; a taxi knocked into my car on Douglas Drive, Douglasdale.

I stopped, got out my car and went to assess the damage.

I then asked the taxi driver (Lucky) for his license and ID of which he did not have.

He told me to get out of the way as he is in a hurry. As he drove off, I managed to get a picture of the license disks, which were already expired in 30 June 2019, and the license plate.

I then proceeded to the Douglasdale police station where I filed a accident report.

I showed the office on duty, the pictures of the taxi license disks and plate and also a picture of my car with the damages.

He just shrugged me off by saying that they cannot help me, cos its taxis we cant get involved. These taxis cannot be a law unto themselves. this has to stop.

Who do I go to for help? I cannot afford to repair the damages on my car.

I would really appreciate your assistance in this instance.
