We took our rescued kitten to Terrace Road Veterinary Hospital with two very clear requests:
1. to ensure he was healthy, and 2. to have all ticks removed and treated.
Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
When we got home, we noticed that our kitten still had many ticks, especially inside his ears, which clearly had not been properly addressed. We were also told that Revolution Plus was app**** and that it does not leave an oily residue. However, after consulting with another veterinarian, we were informed that there should be a noticeable residue, which made us question whether the treatment was app**** at all.
Nearly two months later, we are still seeing worms, which indicates that proper deworming may not have been done or was ineffective. This has been incredibly distressing, especially considering this is a rescued kitten who needed thorough and attentive care.
Another concern was the lack of transparency. Our kitten was taken to a back area behind closed doors, and nothing was explained or shown to us regarding what procedures or treatments were being done. As pet owners, this made us uncomfortable, as we had no way of knowing exactly what care was provided.
We trusted this clinic with a vulnerable animal and feel let down by the level of service provided. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this veterinary hospital.
