We took our rescued kitten to Terrace Road Veterinary Hospital with two very clear requests: 1. to ensure he was healthy, and 2. to have all ticks removed and treated. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. When we got home, we noticed that our kitten still had many ticks, especially inside his ears, which clearly had not been properly addressed. We were also told that Revolution Plus was app**** and that it does not leave an oily residue. However, after consulting with another veterinarian, we were informed that there should be a noticeable residue, which made us question whether the treatment was app**** at all. Nearly two months later, we are still seeing worms, which indicates that proper deworming may not have been done or was ineffective. This has been incredibly distressing, especially considering this is a rescued kitten who needed thorough and attentive care. Another concern was the lack of transparency. Our kitten was taken to a back area behind closed doors, and nothing was explained or shown to us regarding what procedures or treatments were being done. As pet owners, this made us uncomfortable, as we had no way of knowing exactly what care was provided. We trusted this clinic with a vulnerable animal and feel let down by the level of service provided. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this veterinary hospital.

I feel it is only fair to also give positive reviews! I think about 2 years ago, I was desperately seeking a vet that did not need an appointment first. My dilemma was that we have a little feral kitten, and you never know when she is around, so trying to work on an appointment, was impossible. I could see she had a problem, and kind animal *****s on our local website, also confirmed that she was not well. So somehow I found this Vet Hospital. Dr Immanuel treated her very thoroughly. We did complete blood tests, which were obviously expensive, but very necessary. Indications were that she had a pancreas problem. Dr Immanuel medicated and treated her, and she was soon absolutely perfect. I will definitely drive all the way from Bedfordview to Dr Immanuel, as I trust him 100%. I am planning to take her for microchipping first as well as her complete check up and boosters. Thank you Dr Immanuel!

I deal with a large assortment of vets, and I can without question say that Dr Shabeer ranks at the very top of this list. Always helpful, always friendly, and always on top form! Thank you Doc! Thank you for what you selflessly do for our Indigenous Wildlife, and for us in general!

This is absolutely a no go, they treat my little dog and kept it for two days and a R4000 bill. They couldn't tell me what was wrong with her. They sent her hom to die. Wound recommend to anyone, even if it's the last veterinary on the planet. They are just going it for the Money.

Very bad service. Called to check if the vet was available and was informed that he was. When I got the the vet I was not informed that the doctor was not in. I eventually asked what the delay was and was only then informed that the doctor was not even there. Was not told this when I arrived. Had already been waiting about 15 minutes. There is no communication from either of the receptionists and not friendly at all. The building inside smells and is dirty. How can they even look after animals if they cannot maintain their premises.

If it wasn't for Dr Trent always helping out with my baby Illy; I dont know what i would've done without this amazing team. Dr Leo and Dr Shabeer have also been so kind in assisting and operating on my babys' eye and always being of assistance in times of huge stress. Thank you to Carmen, Tamara and Richard for being the most friendly and helpful staff. You guys play such a special role at the facility and genuinely love animals and care for the little patients and us as doggy parents more than I can imagine. To all of you, I cannot thank you enough.
