Under guarantee repairs of 9 month old UPS
Now this unit was only 9 months old and after paying R7706.40 I now must now pay a further R2582.10 to get my unit repaired \under guarantee\". Who is to say that it will not happen again. I can only come up with one conclusion, poor quality product to start with and secondly poor service from management of Tescom UPS Power back up systems for not being sympathetic to the \"clients\" needs and keeping him informed without having to phone them constantly not to mention affording the client a \"reasonable\" service. I do live in Brighton Beach on the bluff however I have numerous electronic pieces of equipment which has never corroded especially in 9 months.<br> I just need to warn people wanting to do business with Tescom UPS Power back up systems that service is not one of their stronger points. I then asked the Manager if it stated anywhere in the user manual that if you stay within 5 KMS of the sea you cannot buy this product. What, as consumer, could I have done any better to make use of this product without having to seek repairs within 9 months and the worst of it all I asked the Manager if he thinks I am getting a fair deal to which he didn't answer.
