Scammer! We ordered stacker doors from Jason Schilder on 26 November, paid a 60% deposit. We have been struggling ti get a hold of him, and when he do he is full of excuses and pushed out delivery dates. I have found a woman on FB that dealt with him last year October and struggled for 6 months to get feedback from him. To no surprise, she never received her doors.

I recently ordered a Solid Meranti Pivot door from the Door Guyz in Cape Town/Muizenberg. The company has what appears to be a professional website, and has supposedly existed since 2006, however upon further inspection, there is no clear address locator on the website, only an area. After paying a 60% deposit, I received a delivery date, which was not met, as were subsequent commitments of delivery. Despite multiple telephone calls and a string of email and sms communication, to date no commitments have been kept, and I don't believe they ever will. I have a string of email communication and sms's between myself and Jason Schilder, supposed director of the Door Guyz for anyone to peruse in this regard so that you can make your own judgement call. It is my personal opinion that Jason Schilder is a Con Artist and Fraudster

In July I saw an ad on gumtree by a Cape-Town based company called the “The Door Guyz”. I am always hesitant to do business remotely (with all the scams going around) so I contacted them, looked at their web site, spoke to a moving company that has delivered many doors all over the country for them - and all seemed legit. I asked for quotes, and on 29 July I paid my deposit of R14 500 for 3 sets of stacking doors. However, I have still not received the doors – the owner, Jason Schilder, ignores my calls and messages, and only responds about once per month, each time promising me that the doors “are almost ready”. This has been going on for more than 4 months now, and in the meantime I cannot complete my bridal cottage. According to the CIPC web site, the previous director was a Mr Michael Jacobus Schilder, but he resigned in February this year, and now Jason Schilder is the new sole director.
