I placed an order on The Gadget Shop SA (thegadgetshopsa.co.za) on 6 February and made a payment via EFT, as it was the only option available. After making payment, I received no confirmation and no response to my emails or phone calls.
After looking further into this business, I found that many other customers had similar experiences: making payments but never receiving their goods. There are numerous complaints about this store failing to fulfill orders, with customers unable to get any assistance after payment.
What You Need to Know Before Ordering: - The only payment option is EFT, meaning no buyer protection or refunds if something goes wrong. - Once payment is made, communication stops, and items are not delivered. - Attempts to reach the store via email and phone have gone unanswered.
