Unfortunately, an extremely disappointing experience with theginbox.co.za. - Order was placed and paid for online - A week later the order had not arrived. - Checked the status of the order online and saw that it was still ‘processing’. - Contacted theginbox.co.za where we were informed that none of the gins we ordered were in stock, but we could exchange them for other gins. - A very kind lady then assured us that the delivery would arrive before we left for our holiday (6 days later) - 4 days later I contacted the same person to confirm that the order would arrive on time and got no reply. This was a whatsapp message sent to their business number which I can see has been read. - On day 5 I sent 4 more messages, no replies, but I can see that they had been read. I also tried to call three times. - I eventually managed to get hold of someone who then told me that the order would not arrive in time. But, they had put an alert on the order to inform me when it does arrive?? - When I queried as to why my phone calls were not answered and my messages not replied to I got told that their system does not allow for calls. When I asked why all my messages had not been replied to for 2 days, I got told that they were ‘Checking to see if the delivery would arrive on time’. Surely you would send a quick message back to say that they are looking into the matter? - Our neighbor very kindly received the package this evening, unfortunately the order is incomplete and the packaging was in shocking condition - We have placed orders with theginbox.co.za before and never had a problem. But this whole experience was terrible and I truly hope that no-one has the same experience I did.
