22 Nov 2021, 11:01Dear Johan and Daleen, we are very sorry that you are dissatisfied with our service - it is definitely not our intention to have customers who leave our store unhappy, so we try to explain our refill guarantee as clearly as possible, as sometimes there is confusion to how it works.
The Canon 445XL Inky branded cartridge that you purchased was used by you until empty, accounting in full for the R345 that you spent.
Unfortunately, when you brought it in to be refilled - a free refill due to your loyalty - the refill was not successful. This is a reality of refills, they don't always work for numerous reasons that are often out of our control, but we will ALWAYS refund you for a refill that doesn't work, and we are willing (and our staff did offer this to you) to refund the R110 value of the refill. Please understand that we could not remain in business if we gave back the price of the cartridge that has been used in full before our customer brings it in to be refilled.
The Inky Shop's Refill Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee: Due to the condition of some cartridges, we don't guarantee that every refill will work, but we will return your money for the refill if it doesn't! The vast majority of our refills work like new, however, there are numerous factors outside of our control that affect the refill success rate of the cartridge - see our cartridge care tips to get the most out of your cartridge. In the instance that the refill doesn't perform as expected, we will return the money you spent on the refill to put towards a new cartridge.
