DONT GO TO INKY SHOP @ CAPE GATE
For many years I have shopped at the Cape Gate branch of Inky Shop and have consistently experienced courteous and helpful service. Regrettably, that is no longer the case. On two separate occasions I entered the store and was met by an African female sales attendant whose conduct was rude, dismissive, and openly discourteous toward a paying customer. Her attitude conveyed a complete unwillingness to assist. Seated behind the counter beside her was an African male attendant whose conduct was equally dismissive, thereby reinforcing the unacceptable behaviour displayed. Such conduct is wholly incompatible with positions that require customer assistance and basic professionalism. Staff who show open contempt for customers should not be entrusted with frontline service responsibilities. The reputation of Inky Shop is being seriously undermined by such behaviour, which is unfortunate given the historically friendly and helpful staff that once characterised this branch. The experience was sufficiently unpleasant that another customer leaving the store remarked that he had encountered the same treatment and suggested that I shop elsewhere. Management at Cape Gate would do well to take note. Conduct of this nature not only damages the standing of the store but reflects poorly on the centre as a whole. Appalled.

Don't Buy Inky Shop Cartidges For The Long Term
Buyer beware: dont buy stock from this shop for use beyond 6 months because by the HP or the other printer companies revise their chips and Inky Shop's cartridges cannot then be used. Inky shop will swop its cartridges for its updated cartridges within 6 months but not longer. So be sure you dont buy cartridges for next year and beyond because you will waste all that monry.

Refund
I purchased ink cartridges from this store , both black and colour .....took it for a first refill after a while....ink cartridge refuse to print giving error codes...I did the necessary troubleshooting but it did not work. I then took it back to the inky shop seadoone mall and was told colour cartridge add a default and it would not print....was told I would get refund .....went back after a week no refund.....where is my refund?

Great service at Tokai branch
A big thanks to the two assistants at the Tokai Cape Town branch - they really went out of their way to assist us with a printer installation issue. They were even happy to stay after hours to ensure everything was working 100%.

Inky Shop cartridge refills
I use the services of the Inky Shop in Hillcrest to refill or buy new ink cartridges. They are always helpful and efficient. I couldn't get my printer to work after installing a refilled cartridge. The young man who works there (unfortunately I don't know his name) asked me to bring in the printer and he would fix it. I parked near the shop with the printer and walked to Inky and asked him if he would get the printer for me as it was quite far for me to walk with the printer. He did so with a smile and sorted out the problem free of charge. I would recommend them and their services as it is second to none.
