I went to get new number plates for made for my car at Mr Lockey. It was a very hot day and I wasn't well and the unhelpful and surly staff members told me there was a R140 charge for fitting which I told them isn't on their website. I didn't have the extra money. I am an old woman of 84 and I was upset by this but a young man next to me gave me R200 to pay for the fitting. I was overcome by his random act of kindness. I will never go to that place again as the staff are very unhelpful and uncaring and rude.
I placed my order for delivery on a specific date and it was completed entirely to my satisfaction. Thank you NetFlorist!
I went to the Hillcrest Sizakala municipal office to apply for rates rebate for the current year dreading having to wait and stand in a queue for ages. However I was pleasantly surprised at the service they gave me. There were two people available as Commissioner of Oaths and the counter staff were courteous and helpful. I was pleased that Sizakala have upped their game. Congratulations.
I came home very tired one afternoon and couldn't face a trip to the shops. I sent a message to Checkers Watercrest Mall via 60sixty with my requirements and 20 minutes later the scooter driver arrived with my order. Very good service
I wish to compliment Nikki who works at Vodacom Watercrest mall. She was extremely helpful when I signed a new contract and even came to my house when there was trouble with the new router.
Thank you Malcolm for your friendly and professional assistance
On Tuesday 15 February I couldn't access the internet. I phoned Vodacom and spoke to Siyanda. This lady was so helpful and patient with my problem. I thanked her and she said she likes helping her old ladies!
I use the services of the Inky Shop in Hillcrest to refill or buy new ink cartridges. They are always helpful and efficient. I couldn't get my printer to work after installing a refilled cartridge. The young man who works there (unfortunately I don't know his name) asked me to bring in the printer and he would fix it. I parked near the shop with the printer and walked to Inky and asked him if he would get the printer for me as it was quite far for me to walk with the printer. He did so with a smile and sorted out the problem free of charge. I would recommend them and their services as it is second to none.
I have a contract with Vodacom which includes a Huawei router. Recently the router battery swelled up and was on the verge of exploding. I went to Vodacom to buy a new battery but they don't sell them only the router with a battery included. Eventually I had to buy a new router with battery when the old router was fine. This seems very unfair as the new router costs around R900 whereas a battery would be much less. This has also happened to a friend who has the same router. Vodacom should do something about this and not just rely on selling new routers.
I've just been on hold to Multichoice for 20 minutes listening to the most garbled noise that's supposed to be music. My complaint is that they are removing channel 123 ITV Choice as from 4 June. You cannot get an answer from them as you can't afford to stay on the line waiting for someone to answer. I want to know why they are discontinuing this channel which is one that I enjoy.
