I ordered a pick up from the airport, the number I was given told me they changed the pick up slot and assigned someone the pick up that person never showed up. Waited over an hour they texted me before I collected luggage then went MIA. I took the Gautrain and went to the hotel. I get there and I had forgotten my physical card in Zimbabwe. They let me into my room and told me I have to pay cash by 10pm when the lady on duty left. Its 7pm and in a foreign country i have to find cash or someone to swipe. I asked why they cant just pull the money from the card they put on hold they told me because Booking.com is a third party and they only hold the card for precautionary measures and not to make payments. I made them hold my USD for the booking until the morning and around 10pm money was deducted from my account regardless of me paying cash the next morning. I spent half my night stressing about being homeless. Now I ask when my refund is coming back and they tell me it takes 7-14days. This occurred on the 6th of December. Ever since u have been the one following up, no updates no communication zero concern at all today is the 26th and i still have not received anything. I am actually very disappointed for the reputation they have this is not even something i should have to be concerned about. I have even just decided to let it go because i am tired of the run around too
