I am very disgruntled with the way Meter Shack charges water and electricity at Lake Grace Complex in Primrose. I work from the office Monday to Wednesday/Thursday some weeks but i still get charges water usage even though no one is in the house. I sent a message to the caretaker to reverse all the amounts I have been charged and she said the amounts cannot be reversed, I was charged because of a guyser leak. I had previously reported that I am charged for water I don't use but was ignored. The caretaker only responded to my message after I sent a message to the agent and was then informed about the guyser leak. My electricity was switched off because the Meter shack charges me for water and electricity. I am charged R110 for common area water usage, R110 for common area electricity usage . There are 44 units in this complex so I am assuming everyone pays the same amount or even more for common area water usage and common area electricity. I need to understand what common area water and electricity is and I cannot be paying so much money as I do not use common area water I dont wash my car in the complex and anyway there are no open taps outside to get water so what is this common area water and electricity for exactly. I need my money to be paid back to me urgently please, I work very hard to make ends meet. This is daylight robery. I spend a lot on water and electricity but I live alone. I am very very unhappy with The Meter Shack and its exorbitant charges. I need urgent assistance with reversing the water charges for water I didn't use as I was in the office. I can provide a Kronos report from my workplace. I work from the office 3 to 4 times a week, sometimes a full week. I usually spend the full day in the house only on Friday and Saturday. I go to church Sundays and leave the house at 8am and usually back by 4pm.
