Racism in 2022???

Food ✅ Scenery ✅ RACISM???!Didn’t EXPECT THAT!!!!

We went into the restaurant, given menus (laminated menus). It was myself, sister, brother, 2friends and my 2 nephews. My nephew who is 4 years old was holding the menu too saying to his mom excitedly ‘ I want this, I want this’ as kids normally do. Then out of NOWHERE, this man came out of nowhere saying nothing to us and just snatched the menu very harshly out of my nephews hand and simply walked a way mumbling words angrily. My nephew even cried out of what just happened! I saw that so I was upset obviously and our waiter actually came to apologise saying he also saw that! We called the man back, he’s the manager or something since he didn’t want to give us a clear answer as to whether he’s the owner or not, telling him it was very rude of him. His response was ‘I know, it’s just he was going to squash the menu and that will be a R44 cost to you!’ How can you even squash a laminated paper ????Why didn’t you come to us as his parents??? He didn’t even apologise !! He simply said I KNOW! We were the only black people in the restaurant at that time and we certainly did not receive the warm welcome he gave his people who walked into the restaurant. IM NEVER GOING BACK THERE. RACISM ??IN 2022?NO WAYS!!!
