I purchased solar components from a new supplier (The Solar Shop ZA www.solarshopza.com) through my company via Internet Banking EFT transfer. After transferring the funds on 31 March 2025 around 3pm – the supplier subsequently went silent and no response was received regarding the purchase. The following morning I started getting concerned about the company we purchased from after still no response was received. Subsequent research online indicated that The Solar Shop ZA initially traded as ‘The Solar Mart’ with the same methods and de*****ing numerous clients out of hundreds of thousands on rands.
