The Solar Shop's Pathetic Service

Do not buy from The Solar Shop !!!

When your product becomes defective, during the guarantee period, they will just say sorry, the guarantee is with their supplier and make it your problem.

Bought 4 x Omnipower batteries from The Solar Shop in December 2019 t be used in a 48V configuration. Initial test showed a 5 hour standby time down to 46V. 8 Months later and I get barely a hour of standby time. Blake Smith from the Solar Shop informed me that the guarantee is held with their supplier, Segen Solar. Segen Solor procured the batteries from Sinetech. Batteries was send back to be tested by Sinetech. Result came back that the my inverter used does not have Temperature Compensation, which was never a condition of sale, and therefore the claim is invalid. Blake just says, sorry, apologies but there is nothing that The Solar Shop can do. Maxwell Engelbreht at Segen Solar is just a now show ! Never heard back from him.

I have emails going back to the beginning of August 2020, still no resolve. I asked then that the batteries be send back, I only receive back three.

This is the most pathetic service I have ever received from a Supplier and has now turned into a borderline theft case.
