So on Wednesday the technician told me they need to install new fibre lines. He phoned the company and arranged time and date the lady on the phone confirmed it with me as well for Friday 23 April 2021 at 13:00. So Friday 13:00 came no technician. I phoned vodacom they can only escalate the problem. So i phoned universal more than 40 times. Eventually i got hold of Amos at the company no the time is for 16:00 so 16:30 came no technician phoned universal again more than 20 time spoke to Amos again no they assigned something els to the technician he wouldn't be able to come to our house. Amos then told my husband that he will phone on Saturday and arrange for installation on Sunday Saturday came no one phoned Sunday came no one showed or phoned. I dont have internet connection since Wednesday 21 April 2021. This is the 2nd time this happens the previous time the technician booking was for Wednesday he only showed up the Friday and did not install the new lines that was on his job card.

Yesterday the 6th April 2021 I finally had my installed after months of being taken from pillar to post. When I got a call from UPMC I was not optimistic that they will be able to carry out the job as I've had fibre installers before and they could not resolve my issue. Jansen spent 4hours of hard work and exploring different options to ensure that my fibre was installed. I was impressed with his level of optimism and how he handled the whole process. He was able to carry out the installation amidst challenges of blocked fibre pipes. The job was neatly and professionally done. Thank you Jasen and your assistant, thank you UPMC for a job well done.

have been fighting with Vodacom Fibre since Saturday morning when my signal went dead. Eventually after a lot of *****ing and pleading i got prioritised and your company got allocated the job.. They couldn't keep to the appointed time and once again i was huffing and puffing Just after seven two of your guys, Clifford and Perfect rocked up and was faced with a more difficult job than anticipated. The two gentlemen did not give up and eventually at roundabout eight o clock they found the problem, a good 250 meters away in the wrong direction of the feed cable. I want to commend you on these two gentlemen, their persistence and demeanour. It is wonderful to see that such dedication still exists in this upside down country

these company manages the technical aspect of out fiber connection in our complex and on Friday 26th June there was a new installation on one of the units which we suspect could have affected some of the existing users. when we raised the line being down with the technicians that were on site they said before they leave it would be resolved. they left and our lines were still down. we then logged calls with vodacom and even explaining the scenario they still insisted making me go through the trouble shooting process. on Monday we tried to follow up on the issues we even had to liaise with the unit that was having a new installation and the technician sent defending messages and said that he did not break the lines that the issue was with the DFA feeder and that he was not a chancer and that it was a coincidence. surprisingly the lines went down as they worked on the feeder on our block and not sure what they were doing as the other block has its own feeder. the excuses and lack of urgency are very upsetting
