The TVGC company promised me a seven (7) days free accommodation in Platenberg Bay in Cape town as indicated on my contract as part of the package saying i can secure that accommodation any time out of season. I have tried to secure with them the accommodation but that came to no avail because they refused me citing flimsy reasons that there was a misrepresentation by one of their employees. In such instances where an employee would have mislead clients then the employer should have picked it when they captured my contract on the system. The employer must bear the consequences of what their respective employees agree on the contracts because those contracts end up in the administration office where they have to quality assured by managers before they are captured therefore TVGC cannot under the circumstances escape vicarious liability.
Dear member.
Thank you for your valued feedback. Unfortnuatly you have not taken the correct channel to get your query resolved. Therefore we are unaware of the situation. Please direct your complaint to info@tvgc.co.za
Never the less I would like to clear the situation for you regarding the free week out of season at The Dunes Resort at Plettenberg Bay. At the time you have signed up for membership with TVGC, there were a promotion for new members to get a free week, weekend or midweek out of season at The Dunes Resort for 2 people. You could only take the free week at The Dunes resort and it were only valid for 2 years from the date you have signed your contract.
As I mentioned, you haven't taken the correct channels to get your complaint resolved therefore we do not know when you have singed your contract. Should you have signed up 31-12-2015 your voucher would have expired 31-12-2017. That would have been indicated on your voucher's term and conditions.
The voucher's number would have been written on the contract. When a member wanted to make use of their free week, the member would have been referred to The Dunes resort, who had a list of the voucher numbers, as it was a promotion they were running at the time to promote The Dunes resort.
I hope this have made the situation clearer. If not please refer your complaint to the above mentioned email address so we can assist you further in this matter.
Kind regards
