Id I could give them anything less than 1 star I would. Made a booking for the 28th of December via Booking.com. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it on this date as I had to travel elsewhere on a work related matter. Seeing that I can’t cancel a booking via Booking.com I decided to contact the hotel directly on the 27th and asked if I could be allowed to set the booking for another date, their reservations manager promised to call me back as I had booked through a 3rd party. I asked for the matter to be escalated to management if needs he and I’m willing to pay whatever balance I’ll need ti pay for the inconvenience to avoid paying another full booking fee. I wasn’t called back nor emailed personally. Instead when I called to check if my request was considered I was told they notified Booking.com I’m cancelling my request and there’s nothing I could. Their reservation manager was brighter sympathetic not apologetic during our last conversation and told me I should have booked directly with them and not via the App. Literally blaming me for their hotel appearing on Booking.com, even though I first saw the hotel there!
Having gone through the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 I was hoping for better relations than this, there wasn’t even a single offer to assist on the matter, nothing! So as the gentleman said, book only on their website or make your way there and book physically because apparently you they are still stuck in the 90s.
