This place is also dishonest towards their guests. In March 2020 we paid R3010 for a booking for staying with them for my grandson rugby tournament that would be in April 2020. Unfortunately the COVID-19 lockdown was announced and the tournament canceled. We contacted them immediately. My daughter S van Aswegen that did the booking on my behalf phoned them immediately to explain whereby Jalanie promised that the money will be paid back after the lockdown comes to an end. We gave them chance until the lockdown for Guest Houses were cancelled. She then spoke to Charmaine that promise that the money will be paid back but she must just clear it with the owner. After she spoke to the owner she told my daughter that the owner refused a refund. We then got our attorney in and he wrote them a letter referring to the COVID 19 disaster lockdown regulations that they must pay back the money and that the regulations clearly state that due to the disaster no cancelation fees or payments are allowed to be kept back and must be refunded. After this letter she said the owner said that we can do whatever we want to he will not refund the money. Nobody of us is having R3010 to through away especially when we had to scratch the money together to manage to pay it. They are very dishonest and I really hope that people will think twice before they make any bookings with them.
