Capitec bank. Money stolen from my Capitec account more than 7 weeks back and paid over to a fraudulent Capitec account is still not paid back to me. The only thing I received from them is excuses and explanations that's not making sense to me. This money was taken to a fraudulent Capitec account and it could only be done with the help of a Capitec employee. Capitec must take responsibility for this and pay back all my money. They don't care about their customers and only look for excuses not to refund their customers. I want all my money back and they can write it off on their side because this is my hard earned money for years of hard work and money I must live on as I'm not working anymore and don't have any other income anymore. THIS BANK DO NOT CARW ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL.
My bank account was fraudulent debited with R97 897.00 on 14/06/2022. The money was paid to a fraudulent Capitec account by who knows who. I believe that this fraudulent account of Capitec was created by somebody's involvement within Capitec. From that fraudulent account the money was drawn cash and several transactions done to other accounts in First National Bank and Nedbank. According to Capitec fraud department. Today 22/01/2022 I've still not received my money back or getting any positive feedback even from the banks Customer Complaint Manager handling the case now. I feel that the fact that my money was fraudulently paid to a fraudulent Capitec Account is the bank's problem and is not suppose to be mine. CAPITEC must take the responsibility for this fraudulent account and pay all my money back to me. They can afterwards sort the money lost with - like they say - EXTERNAL BANKS - to get their money back. This is totally unacceptable for them not to accept responsibility for this and by now not giving my money back to me. Even their Customer Care Management doesn't care about their customers.
Apologies but my mentioned complain is not for The White House Wedding venue but for The White House Guesthouse Marble Hall.
This place is also dishonest towards their guests. In March 2020 we paid R3010 for a booking for staying with them for my grandson rugby tournament that would be in April 2020. Unfortunately the COVID-19 lockdown was announced and the tournament canceled. We contacted them immediately. My daughter S van Aswegen that did the booking on my behalf phoned them immediately to explain whereby Jalanie promised that the money will be paid back after the lockdown comes to an end. We gave them chance until the lockdown for Guest Houses were cancelled. She then spoke to Charmaine that promise that the money will be paid back but she must just clear it with the owner. After she spoke to the owner she told my daughter that the owner refused a refund. We then got our attorney in and he wrote them a letter referring to the COVID 19 disaster lockdown regulations that they must pay back the money and that the regulations clearly state that due to the disaster no cancelation fees or payments are allowed to be kept back and must be refunded. After this letter she said the owner said that we can do whatever we want to he will not refund the money. Nobody of us is having R3010 to through away especially when we had to scratch the money together to manage to pay it. They are very dishonest and I really hope that people will think twice before they make any bookings with them.
