I attended the above college in 2012, i had a a bursary from Makro to pay the fees as i was on a learnership with Makro and SETA.
My bursary was late so i paid my fees cash upfront, shortly after wards my bursary came through.
i did not attend the college and couldnt manage both my work/ leanership with Makro and study with Thekwini so i went and deregistered my student appilcation with Thekwini college.
i had handed over my student card and filled out all of the paper work which was required off me.
i had asked the relevant people at the time for a refund and had filled out all of the refund forms.
i was refunded R2000 of my money and queried the balance but could not do much as i have relocated from DBN. i now receive letters and calls from attorneys wanted me to make payment to the college.

my mothe had to pay Makro back the bursary money which they had paid, assuming she would be refunded from the college later on.
how is it justified that the college pays half the money back and not the other half and then send attorney letters asking for more money.
i have been sending emails and calling the college and to date i have received a 2nd lettter but no answer from T-C
