Be warned: dealing with Top Carpets and Floors in Lydenburg and their National Sales Director Jan Hofmeyr has been… an experience. I paid on 18 November for a new installation and a repair, and simply asked them to look at a broken blind “as soon as possible” if they can. Nothing dramatic. In return, I got two confirmed appointments that magically never happened — no apology, no explanation, just ****, gone. And the best part? When I asked for accountability, Jan’s grand solution was to refund my money and walk away, leaving the actual problem exactly where it started: with me. Apparently, fixing what they promised to fix was just too ambitious. Jan ignored my calls all day, but still found time to send an email twisting the story to blame the customer. After years of supporting this brand and spending serious money with them, this is the service level they think is acceptable. If you’re a loyal customer expecting professionalism or, you know, basic follow-through — good luck. This is how Jan Hofmeyr and his team operate.
