Top Carpets and Floors great service!
Top Carpets installed carpets into my newly renovated home. There were some challenges with the choice of carpet initially chosen. Leonie contacted me and we were able to address and esolve the concerns. The effort put in by Leonie was really above and beyond so that I could be sure the end result would suit my home perfectly. All the information provided relating to the type of carpet, and care going forward was comprehensive and informative, and has left me with a good feeling of comfort. Their installers work quietly and efficiently to get the job done. I would not hesitate to use Top Carpets again, and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Leonie for your great service.

Top Carpets and Floors great service!
Top Carpets installed carpets into my newly renovated home. There were some challenges with the choice of carpet initially chosen. Poor workmanship, delays, and lack of accountability
I requested that screeding be done first by the Durban North branch and was quoted accordingly. The job was completed, however the finished product is not up to a standard that allows vinyl flooring to be installed as promised. The screed is uneven, and instead of taking responsibility for the poor workmanship, the company is blaming the subfloor. As a result, I am now expected to cover additional costs to fix an issue that should not have occurred in the first place. Communication throughout this process has been extremely poor, with ongoing delays. It took approximately three months for the manager, Danny, to eventually come out and inspect the finished work. Overall, this experience has been very disappointing. Due to the poor workmanship, lack of accountability, delays, and weak communication from the start, I would not recommend this branch for future work.

I have had a very bad experience, would not recommend Top Carpets and Floors. An expensive carpet was recommended by the owner, and bought for two high traffic areas in my house. The carpet leaves footprint indentations wherever walked on making it look old and worn. When the owner Leonie was approached, she was very rude saying she mentioned this at the time of sale. At the time of the sale, she referred to "shading" due to the pile. How the carpet looks being walked on cannot be described as shading. Beware if considering using , or recommendations from this company.

When the National Sales Director Doesn’t Get Customer Service 101
Be warned: dealing with Top Carpets and Floors in Lydenburg and their National Sales Director Jan Hofmeyr has been… an experience. I paid on 18 November for a new installation and a repair, and simply asked them to look at a broken blind “as soon as possible” if they can. Nothing dramatic. In return, I got two confirmed appointments that magically never happened — no apology, no explanation, just ****, gone. And the best part? When I asked for accountability, Jan’s grand solution was to refund my money and walk away, leaving the actual problem exactly where it started: with me. Apparently, fixing what they promised to fix was just too ambitious. Jan ignored my calls all day, but still found time to send an email twisting the story to blame the customer. After years of supporting this brand and spending serious money with them, this is the service level they think is acceptable. If you’re a loyal customer expecting professionalism or, you know, basic follow-through — good luck. This is how Jan Hofmeyr and his team operate.

The Gentleman who came out to assist us, was very professional and efficient. He was very polite and respectful. Communicates well with the client. The work was actioned decently not rushed. I am happy with their work. Thanks Top Carpet Brackenfell.

Absolutely satisfied with: 1. Workmanship 2. Professionalism 3. Knowledge of the industry 4. Patience and courtesy I can be that customer from hell but Danny Chetty and his team were patient, understanding and extremely supportive and helpful. I was visited over 3 times to and fro with colour texture fitment logistics and I had a slight dampness issue All resolved with brilliant knowledge and experience The job was so professionally done....home was cleaner after team left than when helper is there!!!! Thank you

Patience and courtesy I can be that customer from hell but Danny Chetty and his team were patient, understanding and extremely supportive and helpful. I was visited over 3 times to and fro with colour texture fitment logistics and I had a slight dampness issue All resolved with brilliant knowledge and experience The job was so professionally done....home was cleaner after team left than when helper is there!!!! Absolutely excellent service Top carpets and flooring Newlands.
I managed to flood my bedroom when showering, due to a blocked pipe (I have a wet shower, no rim.) Top carpets and floors Newlands, were given by my insurance (Momentum). From start to finish, I can only say, EXCELLENT. They came and removed soaked carpet. ordered replacement. I was informed By Gerard of all processes. and appointments. Thank you to ****er, Kurt and ***nee. who did complete work from start to finish. Courteous, knowledgeable and extremely polite. They cleaned up all their offcuts and left my house perfect. I cannot express my level of appreciation for their fantastic service. WELL DONE. You guys rock. I have worked in customer service at corporate level, and have qualifications in this field. This team blew me away with their outstanding service and professionalism. I'm the first to complain of bad service, conversely, This service was the best I have had. Again WELL DONE to all concerned. You made my year, let alone my day.
