Very disappointing experience with the Toyota Used Sales department.
I contacted the branch to clarify the warranty and expiry dates reflected on the Toyota warranty document that was provided to me when I purchased my vehicle. To avoid confusion, I attached the original PDF warranty document from Toyota along with the screenshot of the email I received from Innovation Warranty.
Despite this, Stuart Williams advised that he could not assist and directed me to contact Innovation Warranty directly. This completely missed the point of my query, which was simply to confirm the warranty information as reflected on the documentation provided at the time of purchase and on Toyota’s internal records.
When I eventually phoned the branch, Clinton Hendricks was able to answer my question immediately without any difficulty. This raises the obvious question of why the matter could not have been addressed earlier.
I also escalated the issue to the branch manager, Riaan, however the concern was not meaningfully addressed.
Since Siki left the Toyota Used Sales department, the level of customer service has been disappointing. It has become frustrating to reach out for assistance when needed.
It is also noticeable that responses to Google reviews often appear to frame situations in a way that suggests the customer is mistaken, rather than acknowledging where service may have fallen short.
I hope this feedback is reviewed seriously so that the service standards expected of the Toyota brand are upheld. Based on this experience, I would unfortunately not recommend the Table View branch.
